Rare copy of The Early Start in Life by E.M. Norris (Emilia Marryat Norris), this antique book has an amazing decorative cover and illustrations by J. Lawson. Set in Australia, this is a classic 19th-century adventure story published for boys.

First published in 1867, this volume is undated.

The book has an inscription in beautiful cursive handwriting in front of the book.

Book is in good condition for a volume published almost 150 years ago. There is age appropriate wear most notably at the cover corners, along the cover edges, and at the top and bottom of the spine. Bottom corners are bumped. Pages are lightly tanned. There is light foxing most popular notably on the title page and frontispiece.
