To ensure that you have your Rockin' Pipe for a long time, please care for it as you would any mineral or glass item. Rockin' Pipes are created from natural minerals, stones and volcanic glass and under normal usage they are very durable and can last a long time. However, they should be treated with care and not dropped or hit against anything as they will chip or break if they are, just like any other mineral, rock or glass item. Please take care when using and storing your Rockin' Pipe to ensure that you will enjoy it for many years!

If you'd like to check the hardness of a specific pipe prior to purchasing, as a courtesy to our customers, we always popular disclose the hardness of each pipe in each listing, which most other sellers don't do. The hardness of each pipe is graded on the Mohs scale which is the universal Gemologic grading scale for hardness. That scale ranges from 1 through 10, 1 being the softest mineral (talc) to a 10 being the hardest (diamond). This will help you to know how durable a particular stone is prior to purchasing it. We like our customers to have as much knowledge about their stone pipes as possible so they can take good care of them and enjoy them for a very long time!

♥ Cleaning Your Rockin' Pipe:
The best way to clean the outside of your Rockin' Pipe is to just wipe it with a soft cloth. There's really nothing you need to do to keep the stone itself clean other than that. Do not use alcohol or other chemical agents or cleaners as it can dry the stones out and can damage the stone.
If you'd like to make your screen last a little longer or loosen the resin inside of the pipe so it's easier to clear with your pipe cleaner, you can soak it in a bowl or dish of Dawn dish detergent with warm water either overnight or for a day. That loosens the resin so it's easier to clean.
