This one-of-a-kind piece was thrown on the Potter's wheel, adorned with a handcrafted mermaid tail, finished with a hand cut Clay Crystal and hand painted with glaze, Mother of Pearl Luster.

ARTIST BIO

Nicole first fell in love with ceramics during her Sophomore year of high school and since then has turned her love of clay into a full-time career. In 2010 Nicole graduated from Rowan University with a B.A. in Art Education and began working as an elementary school art teacher. Nicole continued teaching while earning her M.A. in Art Education from Maryland Institute College of Art, MD (2014) and writing her now published thesis research. Today, Nicole splits her time between teaching Ceramics & Fibers Arts at Columbia High School in Maplewood, NJ, and creating in her home ceramics studio.

-While handmade pottery without lusters are dishwasher & microwave safe we recommend gently hand washing your mug to ensure the longevity of the piece.
-Please use our The Madeline Mug Editions with the Clay Crystals with care! By purchasing these pieces, you agree to interact with them safely. Make sure the shape of the mug fits the shape of your face and avoid placing the clay crystal too close to your eyes or face.
