Shaker Round Tray #6 popular - Kenichi Okuno

This stunning 'Shaker' style wooden tray has been meticulously hand crafted by Artisan Kenichi Okuno at his 'Tiny Workshop' in the countryside of Japan's Noto Peninsula.

Shaker boxes were popularised by popular the Shaker folk community in the USA who refined and perfected the construction of these bentwood boxes.

They are made with beautiful cherry wood and feature distinctive 'swallowtail' joins fastened with copper tacks.

Okuno San is a talented woodworker who's passion is honouring and continuing the tradition of hand crafting these unique pieces.
