Vintage 1950s kid's suede vest and chaps featuring;

~VEST
open front with no closures
fringe at shoulder and hem
silver conchos with suede strap
has all four card suit, heart, spade, club and diamond, accented with silver studs

CHAPS
~ adjustable belt type closure in the back
shoestring tie closure in front at the waist....probably not original
patch pocket on right hip
fringe down sides and on top of pocket
silver conchos with suede strap
all four cards suits on lower leg
popular leather straps with silver hooks on back to hold chaps to leg

~ of a heavy suede in an orangey rusty brown and dark brown

~ no labels or tags on this anywhere, measurements when laid out flat are;

VEST
12 inches from pit to pit
15 inches from shoulder to bottom edge (does not include fringe)
fringe is 1 1/2 inches long
concho is 1 inch wide
suede tails on conchos are 7 inches long
card suits are 3 1/2 inches tall


CHAPS
10 1/2 to 14 inches at the waist
waist to bottom of leg is 24 inches (does not include fringe)
fringe is 1 1/2 inches long
pocket is 4 inches wide X 3 3/4 inches deep

~ in good, preworn, vintage condition with no major stains, or funky odors, it does have a missing stitch at the top of the seam down the center of the back of the vest, and the fringe on the bottom of the vest is coming loose at one edge at the bottom of the vesst, suede also shows a couple of minor rubs and all over grubbiness
