Vintage MCM JHQ flamestone teapot and small dish. Designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard in the 1960s.

One of his most important and most recognized early ceramic designs is “Flamestone”, released under the "Dansk label" and produced by ESLAU Denmark. The Flamestone design features a highly matte dark, chocolate popular brown exterior, contrasting with a smooth white gloss glaze interior.

Great condition: no chips or cracks. The is a small shallow dimple that might be a very minor production flaw (please see picture #7). Looks brand new no signs of usage.
