No writing in these books what-so-ever. Most of them appear unread. The Fellowship book is in lightly read condition - really nice and clean books considering their age! See the photos to evaluate for yourself. The books are not perfect, but they are really nice! Only very minor flaws. Original gold cardboard slipcase in excellent condition. Each book was printed in 1982 (Hobbit in January, the other three in April). Books measure 7 inches by 4 inches. This is a Vintage Item and is Sold As Is.
