The scale has an all black patina, and the body of the scale is a nice solid heavy metal. Overall, this scale is in excellent vintage condition, especially considering its age! The scale is also functioning, so it may be used for measuring while cooking, used as kitchen décor or both! I just love the look and feel of this scale.
