Product code: Linocut popular Art Print
Linocut Print Making is a long process before you see the final result but allows you to create original and unique pieces with every print. I sketch each design on linoleum, hand carve and hand-pull each individual piece through my printing press. Each print is inked and pulled separately. The Linocut print making process creates stray marks, also known as “chatter” that is left intentionally on the block print. Each art piece is unique in the outcome of the ink from the press, leaving you with a one-of-a-kind artwork. After running the pieces through the press, I hand tear the pages with a margin that will allow you to adjust to your frame size. The prints are craved on a 8 by 10 linoleum slab and numbered and signed per each edition. I would recommend a frame with an opening a little larger than the 8 by 10 to allow room for the entirety of the artwork for best results. Printed on Stonehenge White 250gsm Paper size: around 11 x 14 inches Block Print image size without margins: popular 8.
