popular Looking for something truly special for a christening? Gianna is made with Nana's love from a delicate silk taffeta. Please note: this silk fabric has slight slubs which are part of the weaving process. This delicate silk fabric can be hand washed and air dried, which will make it softer for baby's delicate skin.

This handmade christening gown and bonnet is trimmed with venice lace, embroidery and pintucks. Natural white silk taffeta gown features rows of pintucking and embroidery on the skirt that is softly pleated at the waist, a collar, short lace edged sleeves, and a self-tie belt. Skirt is approximately 24" long. Bonnet is trimmed with pintucks, lace, ribbon and embroidery. A long slip is also included. Since these outfits are made as they are ordered for each special baby, no two are alike while holding to the basic design of my samples, the lace especially changes over time.

Because each one is custom made with a big dose of grandmother's love, please order at least four weeks before you need it to allow time for construction and delivery (international delivery takes an extra two weeks). If you need one sooner, I will try to meet your timetable, but a RUSH Fee may be required.

Sleeves, hem and bonnet are edged with delicate venice lace. Gown and slip have back button closure.

Available in sizes that will fit from Newborn to 18 months. Please specify baby's current age, length, and weight when ordering and the date of her special day so that I know how much 'growth' room to allow.
