"You Can Find Me Down by the River's Side"
This painting is one in a large series of works on paper depicting my love of mountains and landscapes. I often paint these smaller works in the early morning hours before the hustle of the day, during lunch breaks and sometimes in the last hour before bedtime. Their size allows me to quickly express color and composition ideas, inbetween working on larger works of art. There's a whole lot of love and gratitude for the natural world in each one.
This painting is 11x14 inches on popular Strathmore 184 lb mixed media paper.
Acrylic paint and Neocolor II wax pastels.
A light coat of varnish has been applied for protection.
Initial signature in gold ink on the front; full signature, date and title on the back.
*Mat is NOT included. Framing under glass is not required, but please be mindful to not hang artwork in direct sunlight.
