Jemco tongs are 100% hand forged in the USA with a hammer and an anvil. The holes are hot punched by hand and the jaws are shaped by using swage block or the anvil. All tongs included in this set are quality tools, hand forged from ½ inch round stock providing the user with a comfortable grip. Finished with Johnson's Paste wax to protect from rust and corrosion. All tongs measure approximately 15 1/2 to 16 inches making them easy to maneuver in addition to keeping your hands a safe distance from the forge when removing steel. All tongs will provide you with exceptional gripping strength, deadlocking the work piece while delivering heavy hammer blows over the anvil.

V- Bit Blade Tongs - designed with deep V Groves in the jaws to insure your flat stock stays deadlocked while delivering heavy hammer blows. Extremely versatile and effective in respect to handling wider flat stock sizes up to 1 1/2 inches , 1/4 inch thickness or less.
