Product code: Popular The Classics of Ophthalmology Library, Set of Four Leather-Bound Books – MINT!
These beautiful leather-bound, special edition books were reprinted for members of The Classics of Ophthalmology Library between 1984-1986 (the originals were published between 1806-1921). There were a limited number – these are #224/5000. For the most part they are in pristine condition. They haven't been handled much, so ALL pages are crisp, smooth and unblemished; the covers are clean with no marks, tears etc. and the bindings are fully intact. Two small imperfections: the blue one (Diseases of the Eye and Ear) has a very small scuff on the bottom left of the spine (see last photo); the deeper green one (Anatomy of the Human Orbit) has slight discoloring on a few parts of the gold on the spine, but this might be from the printing process as it's not anywhere on the leather itself, and it's barely perceptible. They would be a beautiful addition to your medical library or a great gift for any medical professional. If nothing else, they look impressive on the shelf in a doctor's office popular.
