This player HAS BEEN tested and is in good working condition. The VCR side of the player was tested with two different tapes and produced accurate video and audio. The DVD side was tested and functions popular properly. Other parts of the system were not tested, but all of the connections/ports are tight and in good shape. A remote for the system IS NOT included. With the exception of some media items (books, DVDs, etc.), listings show photos of the exact item to be shipped. Please inspect the photos carefully.
