If a custom design is needed, a digital proof will be sent before the order goes into production. It may take a few days to receive the proof, but please rest assured your item(s) will ship according to the scheduled ship date on your receipt. You will be notified when the proof is ready for review. If changes are requested, we will happily revise the design/font/layout until it looks just the way you want! We call this our “Open Collaborative Process” and can't wait to create WITH you!

Gift Notes are included in place of a packing slip if you are sending this item as a gift. Please write your message to the recipient and include your name as the sender. If you do not write a message for your gift note, the note will simply say “A Gift For You - Enjoy” and your name will not be included.

SHIPPING AND PACKAGING
We use new boxes to ship all orders and mark them as FRAGILE. Each item is cushioned with Newsprint and Packing Paper. Your order is important to us and we take pride in knowing it is packaged carefully and will arrive in perfect condition. We ship items via USPS Priority Mail. Most items take only 2 days in transit when they ship within the United States!

Approximate production time (please note these times may vary during high volume shopping seasons):
Orders of 1-3 items 3-5 business days
Orders of 4 or more items 7-10 business days
Orders of 12 or more items 1-2 weeks

Our glassware is engraved by SANDBLASTING
Sandblasted glass is engraved by shooting a stream of highly compressed air and fine grit sand at the surface of the glass, etching away the smooth surface leaving behind a beautiful and precise engraved area that sparkles in the light and is sure to impress! We use adhesive vinyl stencils which are cut by machine and carefully placed on the glass to block out the areas we don't want to be engraved.

SANDBLASTED vs. LASER ENGRAVED
Laser engraving is a less labor intensive process by which a laser beam etches the surface of the glass, fracturing it mechanically to achieve the impression of frosted glass. Laser engraving is not as deep and tends to fade away over time.

The sandblasting process is hands-on, takes more time, experience and attention to detail, however, sandblasted designs will NEVER FADE! The etching is also deeper and the texture of the finished product is stunning. We can also engrave on larger areas and even designs that wrap around the glass. By this same process our shop engraves ceramic, cedar, pine, stainless steel and clay pots! Modern Shindig's custom-built sandblast cabinet that is big enough to accommodate larger items and produces a high quality etching result.

HOLIDAYS AND RUSH ORDERS:
During the holiday season our shipping schedule may change unless you have requested receipt of the item by a particular date PRIOR TO ORDERING. Rush Orders may be available and rush fees vary depending on the size of the order and your deadline. Contact us before purchasing the Rush Order add-on, we will let you know if we can rush the item and what the cost will be before you add it the fee to your order!
