Adorable handmade, bright colors baby quilt--perfect for a baby shower gift or for your own newborn. I've cut & sewn every bit of this delightful quilt in my small sewing room in Iowa. The top is pieced of triangles (6" at the base) of various 100% cotton fabrics. The batting between layers is 80% cotton/20% polyester, which is a good blend for warmth and loft. The backing is a small-chain stripe of green, yellow, dark pink & orange on white cotton.
I machine quilted this in rows of a serpentine design. I used a double layer of flowered cotton for the binding, which I machine sewed popular to the top, then folded to the back & neatly handstitched to finish it. My work and the materials are all high quality--I'm very precise in my work.
This bright quilt can be machine washed & dried as you would wash all other baby items.
