Hummel #300 “Bird Watcher” TMK 5 Interested?? Make me an offer, I'm easy! This figurine is 5" tall and has no cracks, crazing or blemishes, it is in MINT Condition. The trademark (#5 Last Bee) places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1972-79. First created by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek from one of Sister Maria's drawings. It was first known as “Tenderness”. This young boy has a slice of bread in hand while he feeds the little birds at his feet while the birds are eating up the crumbs he gives them. You can see one of his footprints in the snow the birds are sitting on. Very cute! What a tribute to the abilities of both Sister Maria and the artists at the Goebel factory!
