Medieval style eating knife, hand forged in the UK from high carbon steel. These are fully handmade working items in the style of knives from the 1300s through to around 1500. Suitable for historical reenactment or as novelty pieces for the modern kitchen.
This knife has brass pins and bolsters with filed details, and a handle made from Yew. The sheath is leather with a leather hanging thong, and has been hand stitched and tooled in the style of originals from the Museum of London.

My knives are sent in presentation gift boxes and will include all necessary information regarding care and maintenance- Please be aware that these will require more attention than a stainless steel blade and a little research into the properties of high carbon steel knives can certainly be helpful if you are unfamiliar. The knife will be re polished and oiled prior to dispatch.
