If you need to pickup in less than 3 days please convo me before placing your order. This isn't the ordinary, run-of-the-mill, plain purple dendrobium orchid lei you're used to seeing. This is a luxury, custom designed lei with multiple flora and embellishments.

My ultra lush fresh flower lei is perfect for wishing a loved one farewell. Aloha is the Hawaiian word for hello, goodbye, and love. I believe that when a loved one passes it isn't goodbye forever, just farewell--aloha ‘oe a hui hou kākou--until we meet again. Due to unreliable USPS transit times, our fresh flower leis are currently only available for local pickup.

The lei photoed was made with magenta dendrobium orchids, deep red carnations, dark magenta carnations, pink carnations with white tips, and green ti leaves. No embellishments were used in this lei because it was made to be thrown into the Pacific Ocean as part of a lovely farewell (funeral) ceremony. The last two photos are examples of how my funeral leis can be displayed.

For your custom lei, please decide on the following:
1.) Colors you'd LIKE to see in your lei**
2.) Colors you'd HATE to see in your lei**
3.) Normal embellishments, muted embellishments, or no embellishments
4.) Desired local pickup date (8+ days away) and a 1-hour pickup window (9am to 7pm M-F)
5.) Phone number in case we have questions about your order

**Because I do not grow my own flowers, I cannot guarantee the exact flower types and colors used in your lei. I will, however, use your answers to questions 1 and 2 above to make the best lei possible.

Most clients prefer more muted embellishments for farewell ceremonies, funerals, and viewings. For these events I can use sheer organza ribbons instead of the shiny ribbons I use in my signature leis. Just let me know your preference and I'll select the embellishment colors that will best compliment your lei. To help prevent browning and wilting, a preservative with glitter will be used on your lei.

To preserve freshness, your custom fresh flower lei will be made as close to your scheduled pickup window as possible. We're working out of Daly City this year (closer to SFO than Westlake). Once your order is confirmed, you'll be sent pickup instructions and your scheduled pickup time.

Please note that due to the perishable nature of this product, a $30 non-refundable deposit is built into/included in the price of each fresh flower lei. As a result, the cancelation of a fresh flower lei order prior to its pickup will always result in only a partial refund.
