Rustic Hand Painted Metal Agave Arizona Landscape popular Desert Cactus Metal Yard Art

A delightful metal agave, the ideal southwestern landscape piece of yard art that requires no watering or trimming and won't be eaten by critters or wild animals. Looks great in a planter or on its own.

Handcrafted in Mexico, this metal agave features a realistic center with the beginning of a leaf unraveling and each leaf features a beaded edge mimicking the spiny thorns found on a live desert agave. I have hand painted the exterior of the leaves with random and rustic popular strokes of iced turquoise for a unique and rustic look. The inside of the leaves and any areas of bare metal will continue to rust to a deeper brown when left unsealed and exposed to the elements or high humidity. The iced turquoise will transform to a more greenish hue as it rusts as shown in the last photo, applying a clear coat protectant will prevent further rusting and will maintain the bluish color.

The metal base will rust in the rain and will leave a circular ring on the surface it is placed on such as concrete or tile, you may apply a sealer to the base or use a saucer or planter to prevent rust rings from transferring to the surface. This isn't necessary when placed in gravel or dirt.

Available in MEDIUM or TALL:
MEDIUM will measure about 17 to 20 inches tall and is about 10 to 14 inches in diameter at the widest with a round rolled metal base that is about 7 to 8 inches in diameter.
TALL will measure about 22 to 25 inches tall and is about 10 to 14 inches in diameter at the widest with a round rolled metal base that is about 7 to 8 inches in diameter.
As a handcrafted item, each one is individually made and no two are exactly the same so these dimensions may vary slightly.
