A Swiss Rainy Day Scene - Original Signed Oil on Canvas Painting - Neighborhood Kids Bikes Flag Chalet Flowers - 19 x 23 Vertical Framed Art

A lovely painting of a Swiss neighborhood on a rainy day. This is a 12" x 16" oil on stretched canvas signed simply "Willo D". The older folks are conversing under an umbrella while the younger ones are wearing rain slickers and riding their bikes. A mountain in the background, reflections on the wet pavement, lots of flowers in someone's garden, a Swiss flag and a chalet with more flowers on the balcony. Not sure of the location but it looks so peaceful and pretty.

Condition: popular It is signed in light blue in the lower right corner. Painting looks really good. The stretched canvas is in a vertical "19.5" x 23.5" wood frame. The frame is really beautiful--sort of a medium golden-gray-brown, with an inner band of blue-green and a beige linen mat. There is a wire for hanging on the reverse.

Shipping Note: Shipping rates were recently increased and for larger frames, like this one, the amount is very high! IF I can find a way to reduce the cost of shipping (and still ship safely), I will. But don't count on it because normally, the postage estimated is correct. However, if you plan to either replace the frame or to display the artwork without a frame., I can ship just the painting (no frame). The cost of the artwork will remain the same but you would save on shipping. Contact me prior to purchase with your zip code so I can reduce the shipping before you pay. Or...you can also go ahead and make the purchase and send me a note that you don't want the frame and I'll refund excess postage to you.
