Product code: Sterling Rose Guilloche popular Brooches/ Hair Barette Circa 1920’s
C 1920 Art Deco rose hair clasp guilloche enamel with blue background and two Sterling rose guilloche brooches. The brooches are small and one has a pink enamel and the other is more of a cream color. From what research I did I found these to fit the Art Deco period. The blue hair clasp is Goldtone and there are no maker marks on it. As you can see the tiny brooches both say sterling. I did not attempt to clean these and would recommend taking them to a jeweler that specializes in cleaning if you want to remove the patina from the age. I prefer to keep the popular original patina because it only adds to the beauty of the period and proves it as well. These are a rare find and the only ones I have ever seen this size. The hair clasp looks like it may have had a mark on back but it is not readable and may just be a raised area on the metal when it was made.
