This is a vintage modern art impressionist painting I believe it was painted.
popular This is a vintage modern art impressionist painting. I believe it was painted in the 1970's or so. It is a vertical painting and measures 20 x 16". After studying it for a while I decided it must represent Mardi Gras, you can see faces or masks in the upper portion of the painting.. It is very colorful with loads of gorgeous patterns and details. The paint is quite thick in places. I have looked for a signature but didn't see one. It is in good condition and is ready to hang, it does not have a hanger on the back.
