Striking Flower Implosion popular (#15)

The Striking Flower Implosion Is comprised of a precious metal infused rod of glass that gets pulled down into a thin piece known popular as a stringer about 4-9mm in diameter long and flexible like fiber optics. An expanding floral pattern is then drawn onto a clear glass lens-blank, (prepared ahead) starting from the center and moving outward to the edge. once the pattern is finished it is then melted in striking the color and catching the fumes of the metals in the hot glass. Then it is backed with a color and then a backing. Finally after shaping to the desired form a bail is made then added, usually of the same color as the back.
