The Charlie B Gallery of Carson City, Nevada is offering this fantastic original signed watercolor by Clotilda Booth. Per the artist's obituary: Clotilda Castro Booth, a 7th generation native of Monterey, CA died September 23, 2021 in Redding, CA. She had been a resident of Redding for 3 years.

Mrs. Booth was born in Monterey, CA December 14, 1928. She descended from Don Carlos Carrillo, an early provincial governor of California. She was the wife of the late George W. Booth and they lived for many years in their home in Carmel, CA where they raised their family. An accomplished watercolorist and artist, she also made and sold jewelry in her shop, "Clo of Carmel" in the Der Ling Lane building on Ocean Avenue for many years.

She is survived by her 3 children, Hallie Sullivan (Kevin) of Cottonwood, CA, Dana Booth of Phoenix, AZ and Lauren Merrill (Ross) of Salinas, CA. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother David Castro (Joann) of Vallejo, CA and sisters Cathy Amato of Salinas, CA and Dorothy Metzger of Phoenix, AZ.

Signed Clotilda Booth with month and year of 580. The subject is in very pleasing collector condition with nice colors and excellent impressionist strokes. The frame has the typical nicks popular and chips, but it is the original one. A piece of glass is in front of the subject. All fragile merchandise is shipped using the "double box".
