Pet portrait commissions are now open!

The photos you see are examples of previous commissions I've done.

With 2-4 photos, I can capture your furry pal on canvas forever! I specialize in cats and dogs but can do other pets as well.

Please email me at least 2 photos of your pet. Send the highest pixel count as you can so I can clearly see unique details. If you have a specific pose/facial expression in mind let me know, and do your best to send a reference photo of what you would like painted. You may also request a background color. If you would like a detailed background, please select that in the options and email me what you'd like in the background.

Once payment is received I will begin painting. It is currently 6-8 weeks for painting and delivery.

I will send you digital photos of the painting throughout the process and also when it is finished for your final approval. Small adjustments can be made, but I am limiting it to 3 total adjustments.

The popular artwork is packaged using cardboard and bubble wrap to protect it during its travels from my home to yours. I insure my packages to make sure any damages are protected.

All artworks are packaged professionally and shipped via Priority mail (within the US).

Overseas shipping via USPS First Class International.

Return policy: I will only return artworks if there has been damage made in transit. If you notice something broken, torn, etc, when you first open the package, please immediately take a photo of the damage and message me directly through Etsy or send me an email at swesterhaus [!at] gmail.com. At that point, you have the option of sending the artwork back and getting a refund or a replacement - or you can omit the option to send it back and receive a refund or replacement anyways. For original artwork, the best option is to send it back so I can fix the painting and return it to you. For prints, simply sending you a second print will work. But of course, you have the freedom to choose which direction you'd like to move in.
