This Kit gives you 3 additional inches per side for width. expanding from 54" on Full bed to 60" to fit Queen Size and makes custom lengthening of all metal rails possible. (no welding required) the added angle iron material has pre-drilled countersunk holes that allows you to clamp in bpace on your bed for easier drilling, you will need to cut your rail to add the lengthening pieces
3/4 bed size can convert to Full size.
Or
Full size bed size can convert to Queen.

the length extension kit can be adjusted to extend custom lengths if needed up to queen length rails



This Kit Includes

2) pieces 24" angle iron pre-drilled

16) 1/4" conical bolts

16) 1/4" Nuts

4) Width Extenders

12) wood screws for attaching width extenders to slats

Other things you will need

You will need to buy or use your own 2x4s for slat boards (you purchase locally, your building supply store will cut to length (inside width of your bed rails for you )

You will need to cut your bed-rails in half, drill holes , and bolt in the new piece of metal.( bolts included )

Use the screws to attach the width extenders to the 2x4 slat board. This gives you 3 more inches per side for width.


you will need to be able to do the following tasks


(A) cut angle iron ( options are zip wheel and/or angle grinder or hack saw)
(B) drill holes in steel (2 bit sizes 1/4 and (5/8 to 3/4) for counter-sinking)
(C) use screw driver, wrenches, tape measure and clamp or vise grip.

The tools needed to install/use this kit are NOT included.

@@We have developed methods to extend the rails to fit a queen bed and have created extenders to handle the width of a queen also, this does not affect the headboard or footboard and all the original value of your bed is retained , the Queen mattress will extend 3" on each side of the headboard....not very noticeable when bedding is applied... we also have a convertible rail that can change easily from full to queen if you want to change back. email if you have questions.
