Product code: Plaster Chalkware Boy and Girl with popular Umbrella Statues
Very charming, rare popular vintage pieces! Especially in the sequenced set. This adorable set of statues of a boy and girl sharing an umbrella really tells a wholesome story. In the first they are smiling together underneath, in the next the wind has blown their cover away and yet they still smile. They're made of plaster chalkware. They are hand painted and quite heavy. They measure approx. 11 inches tall with the bases approx. 5 3/4 inches in diameter. There is felt underneath to protect surfaces, but it is not fully adhered. Very good vintage condition with a few chips, both on the one of them under the umbrella. One of them is on tip of the umbrella that has been repaired, and the other on the side of the girls' skirt. Please see photos!.
