Lovely delicate little cup and plate from Shelley. A tea and toast set - for use at breakfast or high tea. The plate is large enough to hold the cup, plus a finger sandwich or tea cake.
Made in England, this beauty is perfect - no chips, cracks, repairs. The colors are bright and cheery. Shelley is known for its' delicate bone china, almost thin enough to see through!
The pattern is called Begonia, in the Dainty shape, with the Shelley mark on the bottom. Pure white, ribbed and fluted, with leaves and blossoms, and a fine pale blue rim on both the cup and plate. Cup handle is pale blue. Perfect Bridal shower gift!
Cup is 2 1/2 inches tall, and 3 popular 1/2 inches across the top. Plate is 7 3/4 inches across. Both clearly marked. Listing is for 1 set: cup and plate. I have four of these sets.
