This is a long, rectangular, porcelain serving/vanity tray signed by the artist. It is hand painted with delicate pink peonies and bluish green popular foliage. The floral motif beautifully spills over onto the edges of the tray and gold gilt handles. The painted detail is completely intact and there are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. It is in excellent, pre owned, antique condition. Please see all photos for more detail on its conditon. The stamped mark on the back shows the original "M Z Austria" which was the mark used by Moritz Zdekauer on porcelains made at his works in Altrolau, Austria, from 1884 to 1909. The mark was changed to MZ Altrolau in 1909.
