This Miniature Knife is handmade from High & Low Carbon Steel 1095 and 15N20. The 1095 is a traditional and sought after American High Carbon Steel to make quality knife / Knives. BGIKnivesUSA Damascus Knives and Blanks are 100% Handmade and Hand Forged using quality steel (not offshore scrap or junk steel).
It is Genuine Layered Damascus steel (not fake, Imitation or Laser Etched Damascus Steel).

At BGIKnivesUSA we forge our own Damascus Steel from 1095 and 15N20 steel, which are welded together and are twisted to get required layers. Our blades are given excellent heat treatment and oil quenched to get the hardness of 54 to 60 on Rockwell Scale to acquire a popular sharp edge.
Each blade is polish, buffed, sharpened (factory standard) and oiled for long lasting use.

OUR ADVICE:
When Done With Your Knife Please Do Not Store In The Leather Sheath Because Leather Pulls Moisture Out Of Air and Tend To Rust The Knife.
When Not In Use Please Lubricate The Knife With A Leading Brand Of Oil (3 In One) or Any Metal Protestant Of Your Choice.
Damascus Steel Can Develop Rust If Not Lubricated Properly.
