Sweet cotton lawn faded floral print antique Edwardian blouse with floral tulle yoke and cuffs & frothy lace trim.

The blouse closes at the centre back with tiny original antique press studs (x10, all working perfectly), and sleeves can also be closed via the same press studs. The opening is very small for the cuffs so it looks like they have been opening a little extra to allow for this (please see photos).

The blouse is made form a white cotton lawn, very soft and fine, with a faded pale mint green and peach floral print (the print is pale all over so I presume it has faded over time, but the fading is even so it doesn't look like 'fading damage', just like a very pale and delicate print). The cuffs and yoke are lined in a soft cotton muslin.

This would approximately fit a UK size 10-12 (the mannequin is a size 10-12, measuring 37" / 27"/ 37")

Bust across back at underarm: 22"

Hem across the back: 21½"

The blouse is fullest around the front due to the pleats/ gathering so it is not easy to measure in a way that is indicative of true capacity.

Neck circumference: 13 & 1/8"

Length from centre front neck to hem: 21"

Length from centre back neck to hem: 20"

Cross shoulder measurement: 15"

Underarm sleeve length: 14 -14½"

Cuff circumference if closed fully: 6½"



Condition: fair, given the age. There is a little damage in various places, including some small holes to the wearer's right of the yoke. The lace of both cuffs has 1-2 small holes beside the fastenings. Please see the photographs for details.
