This oversized Newsboy Cap was first made for my customer who wanted to look like Rob Zombie for Halloween 2018, and it had been very popular ever since. Bias-cut version of the same shape, made in Black Cashmere, is known as Nikki cap.

I now offer this hat in two diameters, both are oversized by other hats standards: 10"-11" diameter "ROB JR." vs. 11"-12" "ROB ZOMBIE", same dimensions as black cashmere NIKKI (Nikki Jr. smaller version is also available).

Grey Harris Tweed (light grey), tweed cloth that is handwoven by islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Last year I treated myself, ordering directly from Callum Macleon of buttoflewistextiles
Blue/Black Harris tweed is still in stock.
NEW: Dark Grey Herringbone Harris Tweed recently purchased, from Thom Browne stock.

"Rob Zombie" hat has 8 pc. crown cut lengthwise along the grain, it is about 12" in diameter and has no headband. These generous dimensions allow this hat to be slouchy and tilted on one side, as shown in pictures.
Brim is 2.75" wide.
Snap for grey fabrics is gunmetal color. Black, bronze and silver snaps are also available.
I use Bontex for brim filler (cardboard-like special material) for most of my men caps.
Head size finished with vintage petersham grosgrain, black, dark brown or navy.
Self-fabric covered button on the top. My buttons are based on money: they are hand made with US dime or penny coins inside.

This hat is made with a small piece of elastic ribbon attached to the grosgrain in the back. It provides for some size flexibility, plus-minus 0.5".

Please make sure you are comfortable with the size you are ordering. I do provide free size adjustment if needed, but I would rather save us both time and money and "nail it" on the first try.
Instructions on how to measure your head size:
Measure slightly above eyebrows and ears, basically where the hat suppose to sit. My Shelby and Peaky styles usually worn deep, sometimes even over the tip of the ears. Keep the tape parallel to floor while standing.
Not too tight, not too loose.

Due to the present high volume of orders, please allow 3 to 4 weeks for production, after confirming your order and before shipping. Choosing Priority shipping will not shorten the time needed to make your hat. Only RUSH FEE ensures your order will be pushed ahead of my current production list.

If you want your hat to be shipped in a box rather than poly mailer, send me a message.
For the last five years I have been using premium 3.15mil. poly mailers to ship my hats. In January 2021, an Australian customer reported that there was a tear on his package upon delivery. There was no damage done to the hat or even to the tissue paper it was wrapped in. Learning from this customer's reportedly unpleasant experience, I am offering to ship your hat in a box. For US customers, additional cost should be paid via PayPal or Venmo, for International First Class shipping I will cover the difference. Please don't expect anything fancy, the box most likely will be recycled Amazon packaging. I may design my own package if the future if I can find a sustainable solution.
