Large Half Gallon Antique MASON'S PATENT JAR. No date. Beautiful greenish Blue Glass( Aqua colored glass) says MASON'S PATENT on the front side. Usually they have a date under that but this one is not dated.
Overall good antique condition. Has some normal signs of wear consistent with age and use. Has some tiny chips
( more like a slightly rough edge in a couple spots) at very edge of inside rim that are hardly noticeable to me until I was looking closely for imperfections. Some normal inconsistencies in glass and glass color that is typical of jars from this time period and also some bubbles in the glass in different places throughout.
Please note I popular have cleaned the jar but it does have some normal buildup of minerals, some spots of discoloration and other signs of use that may or may not come off with a more thorough cleaning. Other normal wear throughout consistent with age and use is possible but nothing significant stands out to me.
Nice RARE find for the Mason Jar collector.
