Blue Mont Blanc.
Original photograph taken one morning in June 2012, after a bivouac facing Mont Blanc. Panoramic assembly of 5 photographs.
We had left the day before for a bivouac on the side of the Aiguillette des Houches. Marco, the local of the stage, had concocted a program with small onions before finding a happy band of photographers the next day. The climb was rough for Mike, freshly disembarked from his Ireland and more accustomed to the steep slopes of the Arve valley, but the view of Mont Blanc and the fondue at dusk would have quickly sharked him. A little too sharked, since the noisy sleep of my two companions motivated me to leave the tent while it was still dark. I did not have to complain about it finally, as the blue hour was so sweet on the summits.
