This adorable, soft and warm , 100 % natural, Kashmir Himalayan Pashmina stole has been hand-harvested, hand-made and hand embroidered with natural Silk into all-over Floral pattern in Kashmir, North - India. It measures 80 inches X 28 inches ( 204 cm X 71 cm )
and weighs ( 428 grams ) 15 ounces only !!! It is of 100 % natural Cashmere Wool.

The Pashmina story ...

Pashmina, from the Persian word for wool popular, is popularly known in the west as Cashmere wool, from the old spelling of Kashmir. This extremely fine wool comes from the undercoat of the Himalayan mountain Capra goat, raised by semi-nomadic herders at altitudes of over 3000 meters above sea level. Each goat yields about 3 - 8 ounces of finished and weavable fiber per year. This meditation stole weighs 15 ounces. The Tibetan plateau that extends into the Ladakh region of Kashmir - North India, provides the ideal environment for Pashmina growth. The fiber is exceptionally warm and absorbent. It dyes very easily and deep.

In recent years Pashmina shawls have been in fashion all over the world for its luxurious rarity, its incomparable softness, warmth and durability.



Care for your Pashmina :

Although you can dry-clean your Pashmina any time but we recommend you hand wash your prized Pashmina at home using warm water, shower soap or shampoo and after rinsing use a little hair conditioner just like you use it for your hair. Your Pashmina will love you for it.
