Sheltered in the shade on a sunny Carlsbad, California afternoon, the light and shadows of Batiquitos Lagoon made a terrific subject. This painting was completed on site, plein air.

It is painted on cradled 7/8" birch panel, 6x6 inches. It can be framed, or displayed without a frame as the cradles birch sides make a wonderful presentation.

I have included many pictures under different light and ISO stops to give you the best images possible
