Unique crystal cluster from Minas Gerais Brazil! This mixed mineral specimen popular features lavender purple GEM lepidolite that's full of green tourmaline crystals. The lustrous, metallic purple lepidolite matrix sparkles in the light and contrasts perfectly with the tourmalines. A few tourmalines are blue cap that, and have a turquoise end to the green crystal. Several of the terminated green tourmalines are actually casts that are hollow inside! This is an extremely rare occurrence where the the inner mineral dissolved over time due to other trace minerals during the crystals formation. The “tubes” make this specimen very uncommon and highly collectible. This specimen self stands in several directions and makes a great cabinet sized display piece.
