Lovely pure coin silver butter knife. Has beautifully ornate design work all over the handle and blade along with the engraved word 'Sistermand'. There is a mark denoting the silver content but I could not find a maker's mark. Not sure of an exact date either, but I suspect that it was made in the mid-19th Century. There is some slight damage to the end of the handle and some wear on other parts, but a good silversmith could likely repair these problems. It measures 7' x 0.75' and weighs 30 grams.
