You're going to love this Virginia-shape design from a maker you don't see often! This Ironstone sugar bowl with lid comes from the Brougham & Mayer company and has been dated from 1855. These lovely and functional pieces would be perfect to use as a biscuit jar or cookie jar in your farmhouse decor! NOTE popular that the lid has chips on the inside and it appears the finial may have been glued back on but expertly done. See picture.

CONDITION NOTE:
Buyers are encouraged to look carefully at our photos to judge condition - we won't be noting or calling attention to every imperfection. All of these ironstone pieces are great quality and over 100 years old. Because of this, they may show signs of aging and wear as is normal for their age.
