Adorable vintage 1950's era quilted day dress in deep navy. Dress has a quilted skirt with an un-quilted front bodice panel and back bodice. Fitted waist and full circle style skirt that falls below the knee. Dress features navy buttons with a rhinestone center. Built in shoulder pads with quilted sleeve cuffs.
No label in garment remains, fabric is most likely a nylon or rayon. The skirt is backed with a black mesh type stiffening fabric. Garment measured laying flat.

Dress has been dry cleaned and ready to wear. In good overall condition. One iron mark on upper back bodice as shown and some breakage to quilting primarily on side waist. Best worn with a slip due to the black mesh skirt lining. Fabulous classic design!
