Here is a glass jar of very old marbles that range from the 1850s to the early 1900s. These are German handmade glass marbles. The earliest types of marbles were imported to the US. The types of marbles that are in the jars are machine made glass marbles from the 1900s-1970s. The earliest types of marbles were made in the US with the advent of marbles machines. In the popular early 1900s glass marbles were able to be mass produces at up to 1 million marbles per day in some factories. There is a variety of marbles in this jar.
