Vintage 1930s NAVY Bridal Hair Comb/Wedding Dress Sash Brooch Sapphire Blue Art Deco Paste Rhinestone Antique popular Gatsby Headpiece Head Piece

Offering a breathtaking vintage Art Deco gorgeous large navy sapphire blue and clear crystal rhinestone encrusted brooch that can optionally be converted into a hair comb (permanently). An ornate silver open work pot metal setting features deep rich navy sapphire blue crystal accents while the rest of the jewel is completely encrusted in BRILLIANTLY clear sparkly closely pave set round cut crystal rhinestones. It measures 3 1/4 inches (8.3 cm) by just over 1 1/2 inches at 1 9/16 inches (3.9 cm). It's getting tougher and tougher to find these Deco brooches and to find one with blue stones in this phenomenal condition is a very rare treat. Pinned to a simple length of ribbon this would make the most beautiful sash for a wedding gown. If you are interested in wearing this as a hair comb, I can popular remove all of the pin back hardware (permanently) and mount it on a new high quality hair comb base at no additional charge (specify at check-out). The jewel will be mounted at a slight angle to the comb allowing the hair to slip between the comb and jewel holding it securely in place. Please note that photos show the brooch just setting on a comb bases to give you a better idea of how it would look as a comb. It is in near pristine vintage condition with all stones present, bright and full of sparkle. Photos don't do it justice! Though still full of sparkle the jewel has mellowed just a teeny tad creating that softer authentic antique look and feel that can only be achieved with age. The pin back mechanisms works perfectly. They just don't make jewelry with the quality of this piece any more. Why settle for vintage "look" when you can have an authentic period piece to wear as a sash brooch or one-of-a-kind hair jewel?
