30s Victorian White Cotton Pin popular Tucks Hand Embroidered Nightgown Large Size

Beautiful 1930s hand embroidered white cotton nightgown with rows of tiny pin tucks.
Cotton is delicate and fine with a wonderful hand. Slightly sheer.
Multiple rows of tiny stitched pin tucks on each front bodice - they create wonderful shape and interest to the bodice.
On either side of the centre front floral vines lace been hand embroidered.
Delicate scalloped embroidered border to the front opening and collar.
Amazing pin tuck details at the waist - like an inset belt made from pin tucks! Fabric ties at the waist to tie in the back and define the waist.
Embroidery and pin tucks details continue onto the sleeve cuffs - so much talented work has been put into this nightgown.
Nightgown is cut straight with no darts.
One box pleat at the back neck.
Belt at the waist to cinch the waist.
Three mother of pearl buttons up the front - hand embroidered button holes!
No labels, hand made by a very talented seamstress. 100% cotton. Please wash delicate cool, drip dry.
Very good vintage condition with no fabric or sewing flaws.
