Vintage Sacred Rose Heart Pendant Necklace Saint Rita Medal and Large Natural Agate Druzy, popular Patron Saint of Lost Causes, Christian Jewelry

"St. Rita ora pro nobis" (pray for us) reads the reverse side of this sweet vintage heart-shaped medal. On the front, a detailed rose. It hangs on fine silver chain in front of a gorgeous natural agate druzy; popular paired with a pretty capped freshwater pearl.

Saint Rita is the patron saint of lost causes (proving there is no such thing!), mothers, marriage, sickness, abuse, and wounds.

The medal is probably brass or plated--definitely vintage. I've used all sterling silver or fine silver components, and the box chain is also sterling silver.

AGATE is thought to help awaken one's inherent talents and help eliminate negativity, making way for inspiration.
PEARLS symbolize peace and purity.
