O, my goodness! Calling popular all bluebird lovers!! Lefton has at least part of the corner on adorable vintage bluebird pieces. Whimsical and adorably painted, these pieces each have chubby blue bodied chicks with pink rosy faces, big blue eyes, yellow breasts and beaks, and wing and tail feathers that are out from their bodies as if they are dancing! Wonderful painting with lots of detail lines throughout. You will also usually find pink flowers at one side of their round heads. This listing features a fabulous set of salt and pepper shakers. These are the "rhinestone" eyes line of pieces. One is Mr Bluebird with his maroon bow tie and the other is Miss Bluebird with her maroon tied ribbon. Mr Bluebird has one flower on the side of his head, and Miss Bluebird has two. They are the sweetest things! The bases are white with little painted brown feet. Both are marked in green ink, "239". Very precious little shakers with so much personality!

Body Condition: Wonderful vintage condition. No cracks of note. Two chips are present at the back base of Miss Bluebird (see photos). Slight rub to end of Mr Bluebird's wing tip (see photos). Some light crazing possible, but not noted. Rhinestones are in good condition and all are present. Bright colors. Glossy finish. No corks. Faded foil sticker.
