Vintage Anchor Hocking Fire King Jadeite Bulb Bowl

The jadeite swirl bulb bowl is a another one of Fire-King's highly desired pieces. It features a lovely ribbed swirl pattern and flat edges around the top edge of the bowl. It is a great serving dish and a striking stand out piece in any jadeite collection.

The creamy green milk glass of jadeite is a wonderful color that works well with many decors. It's versatile and goes with pieces both old and new. This is a great bowl!

Very good condition, no chips or cracks. Very light signs of use on the inside bottom.

Jadeite pieces may contain their own inherent swirls, straw and mold marks, slight color variations, ash and sand granules, or other manufacturing imperfections. That is part of the beauty of jadeite and one of the reasons it is so well loved.

People often wonder why Fire King jadeite is sometimes unmarked. For brief periods while management decided on new marking designs the mold marks were stopped altogether. At that time they switched to foil labels — which were eventually removed by consumers. So, now we find “unmarked Fire-King” that is not any less valuable or collectible than pieces with any of several imprinted marks.
