popular Beautiful Vintage Japanese Large Hakata Doll Boy Putting on a Foo Dog Mask. This is called a Japan, but is more a Figurine or Statue. It is all hand painted and done wonderfully. His face is beautiful!!!! He is sitting with 1 foot under him and the other out in front of him. He wears a navy blue kimono with a white and gold pine branch design. The Foo Dog has a rope type mane on the top of his head, with gold eyes and teeth. He is wonderful too. This doll is in excellent vintage condition with no issues that I could find. He is clean and free from any damage. Aslo he is from a smoke free home. He is large and is 10 1/4 inches tall, sitting. He is 7 1/2 inches wide and aprox. 9 inches deep. He has the original paper label on his base. He was made by the Hakata Doll Asso. and is signed by the artist. I can send you a picture of the signature if wanted.
