I believe this is one of the prettiest custom projects I have yet to complete.

This active 12 year old preteen is a successful dancer. Her faves are tap dance and ballet. She plays the violin too!! Emma also loves her dog, family and cooking! The future holds a world of opportunity for this special young girl.

This gift was requested by Emma's generous grandmother who likes the butterfly slate and was inspired by the design of a previous finished popular custom project.

The slate butterfly is hand painted in shades of pink, white and a touch of green. The colors also let the rich gray of the slate show through. White pearl rhinestone chain frames the butterfly slate and add to the elegant look of the project.

This gift also features a reverse decoupage trinket dish, perfect for a young girl to store some of her favorite small belongings. The pretty flower is below the glass with white and a touch of pink chalk paint around it. Small enamel charms and pink rhinestone chain add to the appeal of the pretty dish.

I hand built the tower using glass tiles and attached a chalkboard flower which is generously embellished with inspirational messages for Emma and her name personalized with fine white enamel letter charms.

The base also includes a decorated votive. I included fairy lights which are much safer than candles and look spectacular anyway.
