The leather covers are made from a Rawlings catcher's mitt. It has a wrap-around strap to secure the journal.

The unlined, hand-torn pages are made from Southworth 25% cotton writing paper. Acid free and archival, it works well with all kinds of pens, including fountain pens.

I handcraft all Moon and Hare journals in my studio, using attractive paper that is a pleasure to write on. This journal is hand-stitched in an antique design that has the old-world charm of journals from centuries past.
